Did you guys want to play w/ an add/drop limit starting this year? Just wondering since we talked about it last year, but held off on the idea.
Looks like Yahoo allows upto a 100-add limit now, if we choose to have a limit. That's probably a good limit that still allows a very reasonable amount of flexibility. Might add a little bit more impact to strategy and player evaluation to have some sort of limit although nobody was really going nuts w/ playing the waiver wire so far (probably due to other limits plus keeper value, etc).
If we do go for a limit, we probably wouldn't count any add/drops against the limit until the season officially begins. The add counter in Yahoo can be reset by the Commish for that.
However, since there are a few owners (of previously dead teams) who may need to do more add/drops than normal in order to become competitive, I'm leaning towards holding off on a limit until maybe next year -- that's assuming we actually want a limit at all.
So what do y'all think?

I suspect that we will probably not need a limit but have no problem with a 100 move transaction limit once the season starts.

Yeah, might best to skip having a limit this year.

My guess is there is no need for an add/drop limit, simply because its difficult to see any real benefit to adding and dropping players excessively. If some real evidence does reveal that there is a meaningful benefit, then we can impose the limit in the year after. Until then, it is silly to have additional rules just for the sake of having more rules.

If people want to waist their innings or games started on whatever is available on the waiver wire then I say let them.
