sports.yahoo.com/blogs/fantasy-roto-arcade/yahoo-fantasy-baseball-2014-opening-soon-awesome-154013656--mlb.htmlYahoo opens up on Thursday. And according to this article, yahoo will be having more prospects then normal and the addition of a NA roster spot(s). I like having prospects in our game, though adding NA roster spot(s) would allow prospect/steroid suspended heavy rosters a short term fix to their rosters. The current rules dictate you can only have 25 players kept and I believe yahoo will count those guys on the 25. (They count the DL guys). So the question I ask, do you guys feel we should keep the rosters as is and if you want prospects/suspended guys, you're going to have to count them against your 25, OR add NA roster spot(s) to create a minor league system? I like the idea of NA roster spot(s), I just don't see a good way of doing it when it comes to the draft, and right after the draft. Adding more open roster spots to the post draft NA/DL spot race isnt the fairest way to build teams. Assume 3 DL spots and 3 NA spots. IF a team drafts players to fill those spots, there are 6 open spots on their roster. I could see 50+ post draft roster openings being filled with a FA free for all. IDK the best ways, to address this possible problem...

I myself like the idea of the NA spots , I don't know if it is feasible to make it a rule that say to be put in the NA position the player has to be on an MLB 40 man roster or maybe do those in reverse order of the regular draft . Whatever you guys decide I am good with having them

Not sure about the N/A roster spot, but anyone find the new Yahoo FBB site butt ugly and hard on the eyes?
They started changing the non-fantasy-specific sections of the entire sports site back in Sept last year, but now, the fantasy baseball section has gotten the facelift as well.
And not only is the new look quite bad, IMHO, but the player stats pages still seem to be messed up and/or missing some previously available data (much like last Sept when the change began).
Not sure if Fantrax can support our points system for free, but if it can, I'd suggest giving them a try instead -- and that would make offseason trading (before we kickoff the preseason according to Yahoo's site availability) more viable...
